Decorah Couple Arrested on Meth Posession

DECORAH, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A Decorah couple are each facing a child endangerment charge after law enforcement officials found drugs in a residence where their two children live, according to the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies on Monday arrested 44-year-old Bruce Divers and 43-year-old Valerie Burke at their home on East Water Street after serving a search warrant for their home. Investigators report finding methamphetamine, marijuana, and ephedrine, which is used to make meth.

In addition to the child endangerment charge, Divers and Burke are facing charges of meth possession, marijuana possession, and possession of ephedrine.

Deputies took the pair to the Winneshiek County Jail.
