Iowa Football Player Cited for Public Intox

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - A University of Iowa football player was arrested for public intoxication early Saturday morning.

Junior defensive tackle Brady Reiff, 22, was taken into custody at 2:44 a.m. according to records.

“We are aware of the incident and are currently gathering additional facts,” said Gary Barta with the University of Iowa Athletics Department.

“Brady is subject to the rules and regulations of the UI Student-Athlete Code of Conduct, and the rules and regulations of coach Kirk Ferentz and his program.," Barta added.

The 6' 3", 272 pound junior from Parkston, South Dakota recorded 13 tackles, with one tackle for loss and one sack, last season.
