CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A portion of the trail at Cherokee Park, 3855 Midway Drive NW, will be temporarily closed for a storm sewer construction project beginning July 23.
The portion that will close will be at Midway Drive and Johnson Avenue NW, making it so the trail will not be a complete loop. It will reopen when the project concludes.
The work is expected to take two weeks.
