ICPD is looking for a suspect after an early morning strong-arm robbery in the 10 block of south Dubuque street.
Around 1:19 a.m. Police arrived in the 200 block of Iowa Avenue for the report of a medical emergency. There officers found the victim assaulted. Authorities took the man to the hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim said a man approached him in an alley on Dubuque Street and asked if he wanted to buy drugs. When the victim declined, the suspect punched and knocked him to the ground. The victim said he was then assaulted again and the suspect took off with some of his belongings.
