No One Injured in Early Wednesday CR Fire

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The Cedar Rapids fire department says no one was hurt in an early Wednesday morning fire in SE Cedar Rapids.

They say the fire started around 2:30 a.m. on the second floor of the three-plex house.

The home is located in the 500th block of 12th Street Southeast.

All three people inside were able to get out safely and there is only smoke damage on the second flood.

Fire officials say there is no damage on the first floor of the home.

Cedar Rapids fire tell us it was a small fire that is still under investigation.
