CRPD Asking for Public Assistance Naming Suspects

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The Cedar Rapids Police Department is asking for help identifying two burglary suspects.

On May 8 around 3:58 a.m. a person caused damage to an arcade game and vending machine at Coin Kleen Laundromat at 3232 Center Point Road NE.

The suspect left with money and items from the vending machine at the laundromat.

About half an hour later, two people came into Soapy Waters at 2133 Wiley Boulevard SW and tried to get into multiple locked coin boxes on the washing machines.

Photos from the surveillance camera show the suspect in a flannel shirt and hat matched the description of the Coin Kleen burglary suspect.

Both of the suspects involved are in the photos above.
