TIFFIN, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Johnson County is home to the fastest growing city in the state. Tiffin now has more than 3300 people.
The data comes from the US Census bureau. The population has grown 72 percent since 2010.
In town there's home construction on both the north and south sides of town. Developers tell TV9 that the homes are selling as quickly as crews build them. Some workers say they're out here every day.
"It's nice cause we do the siding but not the framing. Every house that goes up we almost do all of them," Rayshell Blakeney said.
The city credits its geography and school district for the success, according to the Des Moines register.
