CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office tells TV9 that several people are injured after a single vehicle roll over crash.
This was at the Cedar Falls Raceway around 12:15 a.m. Sunday.
A Can-Am Maverick X3 UTV, driven by Chad Kinkade had left a paved road in the pits and entered a grass area.
Kinkade is 46, and from Waterloo,
The Sheriff’s Office says Kinkade made several sharp turns causing the UTV to roll on its passenger side, coming to a rest on its top.
Several passengers have injuries from the crash ranging from rib and wrist pain, and a leg injury. Two were taken to Allen Hospital.
Kinkade also escaped with no injuries.
Janesville Fire & First Responders, and Sartori and Covenant Ambulance assisted Black Hawk County Deputies.
