DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The East Dubuque Police Department is closing the westbound lane of the Julien Dubuque Bridge on May 29 for a follow-up investigation into a fatal accident.
The East Dubuque Police Department says the lane of the bridge will be closed from around 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to investigate an accident on April 27 that involved an ambulance.
Westbound traffic going into East Dubuque will be directed north on Route 35 into Wisconsin and then onto Highway 151/Highway 61 South back into Dubuque.
During the lane closure, eastbound traffic from Iowa will be able to travel on the bridge into Illinois but they might see some delays.
