ANAMOSA, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Anamosa Police are looking for a man they said robbed the Walmart at 101 115th Street in Anamosa.
According to a news release, about 8:30 a.m. Thursday, the man walked into the store and demanded money from a store employee. Police said after the robbery the suspect drove off in a black four-door sedan with black rims and dark rear windows that may have been a Dodge Avenger. Police do not have license plate information on the car.
Investigators said the suspect is about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds, and was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt, blue jogging pants with a white stripe on the side, black and white Nike tennis shoes, and a dark colored ball cap with a large, round sticker on the bill. They said he was carrying a gray backpack.
Police said the suspect did not display a weapon.
