DUBUQUE COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- One person is dead and another in the hospital following a single vehicle crash in Dubuque County.
According to a news release, it happened around 11:30 a.m. Sunday on Spoden Road a half mile west of Highway 52 North.
Investigators determined the driver lost control on a curve and the vehicle rolled several times. Authorities pronouned the driver dead at the scene. Emergency crews took a passenger to a local hospital and then to Iowa City for treatment.
The Dubuque County Sheriff's Officer said they will release the victims' names at noon on Monday, April 30.
The Iowa State Patrol, New Vienna First Reponders, and Holy Cross Fire also responded to the crash.
