Three Killed in Floyd Co. Crash

FLOYD COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) - UPDATE: Three people are dead after a crash in Floyd County Friday night.

The Iowa State Patrol says that 28-year-old Jacob Mahnesmith of Nashua was driving a Dodge pickup. Investigators say he didn't stop at the intersection of 210th Street and Woodside Avenue at 5:15 p.m. on Friday and hit a GMC pickup.

The crash killed Mahnesmith and one of his passengers, 28-year-old Shane Wiltse of Charles City. A third person, 29-year-old Thomas Parcher of Marble Rock, was injured.

The Iowa State Patrol says the crash also killed a third person but is waiting to release their name.

At least one person is dead in a crash in Floyd County.

It happened at the intersection of 210th Street and Woodside Avenue at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup heading west on 210th Street didn't stop at a stop sign.

That's when it hit a 2002 GMC Sierra pickup traveling north.

The Iowa State Patrol has not yet released the number of people killed or their identities.
