Winter Weather Leads to Bremer Co. Crash

BREMER COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Wintery weather was a factor in a single vehicle crash Wednesday, according to the Bremer County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said it happened about 11:40 a.m. in the 1300 block of U.S. 218, about a mile north of Plainfield.

They said 45-year-old Angela Lalan of Cedar Falls was driving south on U.S. 218 when she lost control of her vehicle on the slippery road and hit a sign post. An ambulance took her to a hospital for possible minor injuries. The crash damaged Lalan's vehicle, but deputies did not provide a damage estimate.
