CLAYTON COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Authorities have released the name of the man who died when his pickup crashed into the rear of a semi in Clayton County.
According to the Sheriff's Office, it happened about 10:35 a.m. April 12 on U.S. 52 about a quarter mile south of U.S. 18. That's about 7 miles west of McGregor.
Investigators said 82-year-old Francis Forst of McGregor was driving a pickup south on U.S. 52 and rear-ended the southbound semi.
Authorities pronounced Forst dead at the scene.
