FAYETTE COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A man has been cited for failure to maintain control after hitting a grain bin.
A Fayette County Deputy was on patrol when he found a vehicle in the ditch around 9:13 a.m. on April 15.
The driver of the vehicle, 42-year-old Anthony Morris, said he was southbound on K Avenue when he lost control of his car.
Morris went into a field driveway and hit a grain bin on the property. Then, he drove out in the field until his car got stuck.
Morris' vehicle, owned by Upper Iowa University, was totaled in the accident.
Morris was cited for failure to maintain control.
