Authorities Look for Missing Inmate

LINN COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The Linn County Sheriff's Office says an inmate at the Linn County Correctional Center, Jordan Stephon Johnson, was released on April 16 at 10 a.m. on a court order furlough to find employment.

The 19-year-old was supposed to return to the correctional center at 3 p.m. and never came back.

Johnson was serving time for possession of a controlled substance and carrying weapons.

Johnson is a black male, 5 ft. 7 in., and 190 pounds.
