CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) Deli sandwiches are being pulled from the shelves of some big-box stores in Cedar Rapids. That's after chopped romaine lettuce, grown in Yuma, Arizona, caused a multistate E. coli outbreak.
The Centers for Disease Control says it has not yet identified a common grower or supplier of the affected lettuce.
Thirty-five cases in 11 states have been reported and linked to the outbreak.
Health officials say to stay away from store-bought chopped romaine lettuce.
Walmart has been one of the retailers affected by the outbreak.
