FAYETTE COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- On April 9 the Fayette County Sheriff's Office took a report from West Central School Administration that a teacher at West Central High School may be under the influence of alcohol.
An investigation found Daniel James Reister, 49, of Sumner, was teaching while intoxicated. Reisner was then arrested.
He has been charged with 1st Offense Public Intoxication.
Reisner is being held at the Fayette County Jail pending an appearance with a Magistrate.
