West Delaware Students Finish 2nd in Auto Contest

MANCHESTER, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Two students from West Delaware High School placed 2nd in the nation in the National Auto Skills Competition in New York, NY, according to the district.

Caleb Zehr and Sam Ruba were among participants from 29 states at the competition held Tuesday and Wednesday, April 3 & 4. The district said this is the highest any West Delaware team has ever finished. Their instructor is Jason Guyer.

The boys return home Thursday.

The Iowa Auto Dealers Association and the New York Auto Dealers Association sponsored the West Delaware students.
