Five Iowa Locations Chosen for Cannabis Oil Sales

DES MOINES, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Five locations in Iowa have been approved by the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) to have a license to sell medical marijuana.

Council Bluffs, Davenport, Waterloo, Windsor Heights, and Sioux City will have until March 28 to accept the licenses.

The Iowa Cannabis Company, Inc. was approved to have a license to issue medical cannabidiol at the Waterloo location.

The IDPH said ten other locations in Iowa met the minimum score, but they don't anticipate on giving them a license at this time. The list included locations in Cedar Rapids, Coralville, Council Bluffs, Davenport, Iowa City, Des Moines, and Sioux City.
