Iowa City, Iowa - A spring snowstorm dumped snow on Iowa Saturday, with the heaviest snow is in the area stretching from northwest Iowa into Eastern Iowa.
Snow totals in the north ranged from 12 to 16 inches, including the I-35 corridor from about Highway 20 north through Mason City and to the Minnesota border. A Winter Storm Warning for northern Iowa ends at 4:00 p.m. Saturday.
In eastern Iowa I-80 was at times shut down by crashes and white out conditions, at times slowing traffic from the Iowa City area all the way east to the Quad Cities.
