IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Authorities responded to a structure fire at 2160 Davis Street at 7:52 p.m. on March 18.
When firefighters got to the scene there was smoke and flames. The firefighters went into 2162 Davis Street, an adjoining residence, and confirmed no one was inside.
Firefighters were able to control the fire in about 30 minutes.
The Iowa City Police Department, Johnson County Ambulance Service, Red Cross, and Mid American Energy assisted at the scene.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
