Three Charged in Clayton Co. Thefts

CLAYTON COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The Clayton County Sheriff's Office and the Monona Police Department executed two separate search warrants related to burglary investigations on March 2.

The search warrants were executed at 304 Truman Street in Luana and at 420 N Main Street in Monona.

Deputies found tools, trailers, and other items over $10,000 during both warrants.

John Kottman, 41, of Luana, was charged with two counts of delivery of methamphetamines (Class "C" Felony) and 1st Degree Theft (Class "C" Felony).

Jennifer Trappe, 40, of Luana, was charged with Possession of Stolen Property, an aggravated misdemeanor.

In Monona, Marty Bissell, 57, was charged with 1st Degree Theft (Class "C" Felony) and Possession of a Firearm as a Felon (Class "D" Felony).

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.

Kottman is being held in the Clayton County Jail on a $25,000 bond.

Bissell is in the Clayton County Jail being held on a $15,000 bond.

Trappe was released from jail after posting a cash bond.
