Chicken Salad Recall Expanded to Seven States

An outbreak of salmonella linked to ready-to-eat chicken processed in Iowa now covers seven states. The Centers for Disease Control said this week that more than 100 people became sick after eating chicken salad that's been recalled by Triple T Specialty Meats of Iowa.

Besides Iowa, the chicken salad was sold at Fareway grocery stores in Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, and South Dakota. People in Indiana and Texas also got sick. No deaths are reported.
