Temperatures will be key as to how this day goes and who gets what kind of weather. At this time, every type of precipitation will be possible today, with the bulk of the wintry precipitation over northeast Iowa into southwest Wisconsin. Mixed precipitation will be possible as far south as I-80, though.
On the rainfall side of things, plan on a half inch to around one inch by the end of the day.
Most of the snowfall accumulation will be found over northeast Iowa. Anywhere from 1-3" will be likely along and northeast of a Manchester to Maquoketa line. Around 4-6" will be possible in extreme northeast Iowa into southwest Wisconsin. Dubuque will likely see 2-4" of snow by the time it's all over with.
