DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The Dubuque Community School District has cancelled all classes throughout the district for February 23.
The cancellation comes after a threat late Thursday evening to Dubuque Senior High School, which they have not been able to confirm the credibility of.
After deciding to close Senior High School for the day, student and parent concerns, as well as a significant disruption created throughout the district, led to a decision to close all schools Friday.
The district website says the day will be made up at the end of the school year.
