CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The Hartman Reserve Nature Center has opened after a renovation in Cedar Falls.
The opening comes after months of remodeling the east wing of the Interpretive Center during the fall of 2017.
The east wing of the center was built in the 1940's, which meant upgrades were needed to be ADA compliant.
Other upgrades included creating more space for educational programs and making the building more energy efficient.
Trails are open every day from sunrise to sunset.
The Hartman Interpretive Center, Buckles Building, and Acorn Gift Shop are open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and 1-5 p.m. on Sundays.
