Robbery Suspect Pleads Guilty to Aiding & Abetting

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- One of the two men the snow helped catch after a bank robbery has decided to plead guilty.

LeMarkis Hobson decided to plead guilty to aiding and abetting robbery, which is a lower charge than he was facing.

Police said he and Tyson Hathaway robbed a U.S. Bank in Iowa City in December.

While driving away, their car went off Interstate 80 in snowy conditions.

Police found items from the robbery near the crash site and saw two sets of footprints in the snow. They followed the footprints and found the two suspects.
