Authorities responded to two single-vehicle accidents on Highway 30, just west of Highway 13 after 2:30 this morning.
Michael Wolfe of Manchester was driving a semi pulling a trailer loaded with corn when the front axle of the vehicle broke.Wolfe wasn't able to control the vehicle and it went on its side in the median, spilling corn across part of the eastbound lanes of Highway 30.
Wolfe wasn't hurt in the accident.
Nicole Crane of Springville was driving in the second car and was driving eastbound on Highway 30 when she lost control of her car while driving through the corn that was covering part of the roadway.
Crane spun out and went into a ditch where the vehicle hit a tree.
Crane was taken to Mercy Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Neither driver was cited for the incidents.
