LINN COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Authorities responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Midway Road near St. Peters Road on February 14.
Linn County Sheriff's Deputies, Monroe Township Fire Department, and Center Point Ambulance responded to the single vehicle crash at 11:50 p.m.
Authorities found Matthew Jarvis, 35, of Center Point, was driving a truck that had gone into the ditch and hit a culvert.
Jarvis wasn't hurt in the accident, but a passenger in the truck was.
Emily Brown, 34, of Cedar Rapids, wasn't wearing a seatbelt during the crash and was taken to Mercy Hospital with minor injuries.
Jarvis was charged with operation of a vehicle while intoxicated.
