A man and woman have been arrested and charged with a series of thefts from homes and construction sites in Jasper County.
Deputies executed a search warrant in Reasnor last week, and say they found stolen property worth $125,000.
49-year-old Charles Loudermilk and 34-year-old Kristen Miller in Newton were arrested, but not easily.
Officers say Loudermilk took off in a stolen vehicle and led them on a short chase before driving into a ditch. They say Miller also tried to escape but was also stopped and arrested.
