UPDATE: Hwy. 13 Reopened after Morning Rollover

UPDATE: Hwy. 13 is now reopened after cleanup of the spilled corn and rolled semi

Previous Story:
At about 4:08 this morning authorities responded to a report of a semi that was on its side on Highway 13 and Indian Bridge Rd.

Responders arrived to find that a grain semi had lost control, went into the median, and tipped on its side. This caused its load of corn to spill onto the highway.

The driver of the semi, Kody Orcutt of Earlville, was transported to St. Lukes Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Orcutt was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.  One lane of southbound Highway 13 will be shut down pending removal of the semi and corn.
