BUCHANAN COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Two semi trucks collided nearly head-on Monday night on Interstate 80 in Buchanan County.
According to the Buchanan County Sheriff's Office, it happened just before 7 p.m. near the Brandon exit when a semi traveling south crossed the median and struck a northbound semi.
One semi came to rest stretched across the southbound lanes, the other came to rest in the east ditch, according to deputies.
Emergency crews took one driver to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The other driver was not injured.
The crash closed the northbound lanes of I380 for a couple hours.
Authorities have not yet released the names of the drivers._

The Iowa State Patrol said two semi-trucks collided on Interstate 380 near Brandon, closing the northbound lanes.
The patrol said it happened about 7:30 p.m. Monday between County Road D48 and County Road V65 near Brandon in Buchanan County.
Troopers have not yet released any other details, including if there were injuries.
