Iowa's Gas Prices Increasing the Most...

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Iowa's gas prices jumped the most out of any state in the country over the past month.

The current average for the state for regular gas is at $2.58 per gallon. That is up 18 cents for the month of January. AAA says the demand for crude oil and selling crude oil at expensive rates over the last few months is causing the uptick.

Right now, Cedar Rapids' gas price average for regular gas is $2.66 per gallon. Dubuque has the same average. Iowa City has a slightly lower average at $2.63. The Waterloo and Cedar Falls area average is $2.61.
