Job growth in Iowa is expected to pick-up by 21% over the next few months according to a survey by Manpower of Central Iowa.
"Des Moines has an even higher employment growth outlook, of 25%" Spokesperson Kathy Joblinski tells WHO Radio News.
Strongest job growth is expected in construction, durable goods, transportation, and energy.
She says during these times of extreme low-unemployment in Iowa, employers are looking for people with good skills, and they're often willing to train the right people. Joblinski says hiring bonuses are also becoming more common.
