CLINTON COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A head-on collision killed one driver and sent the other to the hospital Monday.
The Iowa State Patrol said it happened about 2:40 p.m. on U.S. 67 south of Folletts in Clinton County.
According to a crash report, a Buick LeSabre was traveling southbound and a Ford F150 pickup was traveling north when they collided on a curve. The Buick caught fire after the crash.
The LeSabre driver suffered fatal injuries. An ambulance took the pickup driver to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities have not yet released the names of the drivers, pending notification of family.
