LINN COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A two vehicle crash sent two people to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries Tuesday night.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office said it happened just before 5:30 p.m. on Highway 100 at 31st Street near Marion.
Deputies said 47-year-old Michelle Butler of Marion was driving a Toyota Camry turning north on 31st Street when a Ford Taurus westbound on Highway 100 crashed into the Camry.
50-year-old Jody Martin of Mount Vernon was driving the Taurus. Deputies cited her for failure to yield.
Ambulances took both drivers to the hospital. Deputies said both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. There were no other occupants.
