Two Charged on NE IA Drug Charges

WAUKON, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Two Wisconsin residents are facing multiple charges after a traffic stop on January 6.

The Waukon Police Department said officers discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, as well as a connection to theft at a Waukon store in which more than $1,000 of merchandise was stolen.

30-year-old Caley Edwards of Platteville, Wisconsin was arrested on charges of second degree theft, drug possession, unlawful possession of a prescription drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, control of weapon as a felon, providing false information, and interference with official acts.

Officers also arrested 27-year-old Cimaron Mann of Fenimore, Wisconsin on charges of possession of stolen property and interference with official acts.

Waukon police have not said at what store the theft occurred or what was stolen.
