A Waverly teen went to the hospital following a single vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon, according to the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said it happened about 12:30 p.m. in the 5600 block of East Cedar Wapsi Road.
They said 17-year-old Kali Reichert was traveling east when she lost control of her vehicle after dropping onto the south shoulder of the road and over correcting. The vehicle crossed the road into the north ditch and traveled through a fence and into a grove of trees.
Emergency crews took her to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Her condition has not been released.
