A man accused of sexual assaults near the University of Iowa campus entered an Alford plea Tuesday.
That means Adam Weinstein admitted prosecutors likely have enough evidence to convict him, but he is not admitting he committed the crimes.
The charges against him were assault with intent to commit sexual abuse and assault with intent to commit bodily injury.
Police say he sexually assaulted multiple women near University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and some university dorms in the fall of 2015.
The university sent out two Hawk alerts relating to those actions.
Weinstein will be back in court for sentencing in February.
