RIVERSIDE, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The father of 17-month-old girl who died at home last year has pleaded not guilty for her death.
The charge against Anthony McCoy is child endangerment resulting in death. He is currently in jail and will be in court in a week to consider a bond reduction.
The mother of the child, Ambrashia Chrzan, faces the same charge. She has not entered a plea yet.
Avery McCoy died a year ago. She weighed only 11 pounds at the time of her death. An autopsy showed malnutrition was a contributing factor to her death.
