FARLEY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- One person is dead following a two vehicle crash in Dubuque County Wednesday evening.
According to the Dubuque County Sheriff's Office, it happened about 5:45 p.m. On U.S. 20 at the westbound Farley exit.
Investigators said a westbound International work truck exited U.S. 20 and slowed while on the ramp. A westbound car also exited onto the ramp, but failed to slow and crashed into the rear of the truck.
Deputies said emergency crews took the car's driver to a hospital where the driver was pronounced dead.
Authorities said they will release the names of those involved after 2 p.m. Thursday, November 16.
The Dubuque County Medical Examiner said the Iowa Medical Examiners Office in Ankeny will perform an autopsy on the deceased driver to determine the cause of death.
