IOWA CITY, Iowa - - University of Iowa football defensive back Brandon Snyder will miss the remainder of the 2017 season due to injury. The announcement was made Tuesday by head coach Kirk Ferentz.
“Brandon will have surgery and look forward to returning to action in 2018,” said Ferentz. “Injuries are an unfortunate part of the game. We know from past experience that Brandon will work as hard as possible towards a full and complete recovery for next season.”
The 25th-ranked Hawkeyes (6-3, 3-3) travel to third-ranked Wisconsin (9-0, 6-0) on Saturday (2:30 p.m., ABC).
