IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) - Iowa City police are looking for the suspects involved in an armed robbery over the weekend.
Police responded to the area near the 1900 block of Broadway Street and the 1100 block of Hollywood Boulevard on Sunday at about 9 p.m.
The Iowa City Police Department said officers found a victim who told police that he was approached by two males.
One demanded his wallet and another was heard possibly manipulating a handgun.
According to police, the suspects are described as black males, both approximately 6 ft. tall with long dreadlocks and wearing black hoodies.
One wore dark pants and the other was wearing light colored pants. The 2 males were part of a group of approximately 5 males, who ran from the scene after the robbery.
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects.
