CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A new donut shop is coming to Cedar Rapids next month. It allows you to choose different toppings and icing.
Plans call for Donut Experiment to open late next month at 5300 Fountains Drive Northeast.
The business allows people to choose their own icing and toppings for each donut. A machine will put the toppings on for you.
The franchise owner is from Cedar Rapids. Jen Bentley told TV9 she wanted to open the store after visiting the original down in Florida.
She hopes to open the doors by Thanksgiving. This will be the first Iowa location.
