PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. -- University of Iowa senior Zoe Douglas and sophomore Elise van Heuvelen picked up a pair of doubles wins on their final day at the ITA All-American Championships on Wednesday.

Douglas and van Heuvelen, ranked No. 42 nationally, defeated teams from Wake Forest and Harvard, 8-4 and 8-7 (7-0), respectively.

“I’m really happy for both Zoe and Elise,” said UI head coach Sasha Schmid. “They finished strong at a great event that features the best players in the nation. They’ll be able to come home with confidence and build off their success for the rest of the fall.”
