JOHNSON COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A Cedar Rapids man is facing charges after deputies said they found more than 100 fake IDs in the stolen car he was driving.
Johnson County Sheriff's Deputies stopped 24-year-old Tyrone Smith for speeding just before midnight Sunday at mile marker 8 on Interstate 380, about 2 miles south of the Swisher exit. Deputies determined he was driving a rental car reported stolen. During a search of the car, deputies found 112 fake Ids in a bag.
Deputies arrested Smith for possession of a fictitious license, card, or form, a serious misdemeanor.
