SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Jonas Larsen and Piotr Smietana represented the University of Iowa men's tennis team on the final day of the Bobby Bayliss Invitational at the Eck Tennis Pavillion on the campus of Notre Dame.
Smietana lost a heartbreaker to Nathan Griffin of Notre Dame, 4-6, 6-4, 10-6.
Larsen dropped his singles match to Notre Dame's TrIstan McCormick, 6-2, 6-2.
The duo rallied to end the Invitational on a positive note defeating Rayl/Griffin, 7-6
(4).
