IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A fire cause $1 million in damage to a commercial building in Iowa City.
The Iowa City Fire Department says someone reported fire coming from a building at 1018 Walnut Street in Iowa City about 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
The first fire crews to the scene found significant smoke and fire in the rear of the building.
Firefighters had to deal with structural collapses and building instability. The cause is under investigation.
