CORALVILLE, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Coralville’s first Trader Joe’s store will officially open its doors to the public on Friday, October 6, 2017. A grand opening ceremony will kick off the event and residents and media are invited to attend as well as tour the new store.

Up until now, Des Moines has been home to the only Trader Joe’s in Iowa. The 13,000 square foot Coralville store will feature murals of such landmarks as the Old Capitol Building, the Iowa River and Hancher Auditorium.
